i do miss this woman whom i never met or saw in person. 'harriet' is one of the funniest comedians i have ever witnessed in my life. i'm sitting here busting a gut while tears of laughter run down my face. her humor has provided so much tension relief since i first saw her. i am so glad to have found her and i'll continue to enjoy her talks.

I am a 79 yr old lady living in Margate England and I have watched the wonderful Jeanne Robertson and listened to her hilarious stories for so long. How can I miss somebody I never met or knew to leave such a loss she must be a very very special lady. God bless you Jeanne Robertson ❤❤❤❤

I've enjoyed this lady's humor for years and never fail to laugh til I cry!😂 I just wish I had her ability to find humor in the trials of "nonhumorous", for a lack of a better word, situations!😅

Some what unrelated to this but in the late '80s I was in MN. I was 1 of a team of truckdrivers stationed there. The guy I was with was a very big guy, around 280+. His favorite thing to do on our off days was to go to the local mall to watch people. Now that doesn't look like fun but when you see how people dress in malls it sure can be. He would get to laughing at what we were seeing & he was part of the show b/c he laughed all over as big as he was. Even back then it looked like people left their senses home.

Long ago when I was a trucker, I came across a funeral procession stopped along the road. Stopping to offer help & blocking the road I found the hearse had a flat tire. Seems that no car/truck in the procession had a tire that would fit. This was before cell fones so I got on the CB to sort things out for 'em. I left wondering just how often that situation has arisen to where a man was late for his own funeral.

On their first date, she thought there was something that could be fixed. People who have watched more of her talks know that Left Brain was never "fixed." If one likes clean humor like this, I suggest the book _The Egg And I_ by Betty MacDonald. In thebook, , the author talks about a difference between how men and women approach dealing with friends. According to the book, a woman will pull and push a friend until the friend fits a pattern that their friends have to conform to. A man will accept a friend with all of his faults. Sexist? Probably, but only women have criticized me for: 1. walking my dog at 5:30 am wearing pajamas and a robe; 2. liking corn and lima beans separately but not mixed together as succotash; 3. letting my white and gray hair grow long so my dog and I can walk as Santa and Father Christmas during the holiday season; 4. Leaving the front door *_wide open_* to air out the house; 5. Hanging laundry on a clothesline rather than *_always_* using the dryer. There are many more examples. Really, you're not likely to be successful trying to change how someone's brain is wired. Just accept it.

I LOVE this!!!! Oh how i wish I'd had the honor of meeting Jeanne! My absolute favorite thing to do is to strike up conversations with strangers! Friends accuse me of knowing everybody and are astonished to see me talking to others as if I'd known them for years lol

What I would give to have known Jeanne and her family prior to her passing. I only recently discovered her here on RUclips and though I am so very grateful to have done so...I most certainly wish I had experienced this amazingly wonderful woman years ago. I'm so sad to learn she's left us and find myself weeping for and old friend. This eulogy was lovely and so very appropriately offered.

I am 6"6" tall, or as I prefer to say it 4-1/3 cubits. That causes an immediate pause while they try to figure out how much that is. My wife thought she was tall. She is 5'9", so obviously short. I find it very frustrating when someone wants to hang a picture without a tape measure and level. So I can relate to leftbrain.

I'm so sorry Jeanne and LB are no longer amongst the living....I'm having a difficult time accepting the fact that I only recently ""found" these videos only to discover they've both passed! This woman has left us so many stories that are light heartedly real and remain to be relevant to current life, it's nearly impossible to believe she's gone....I'll be watching and re-watching because each and every snippet she shared is the most uplifting experience I've seen in years. Rest well Jeanne and Left Brain, thank you.

Quarter Slot Machines? Too rich for me. I play the Nickel Slots. Once when I was in Tahoe, I played the Nickel Slots for 8 hours, same slot. The drinks were free. I got to figuring out the machine. I’d put 1 nickel in a pull the lever. When I figured out about when it was going to pay out, I’d put in 3 Nickels. Sure enough it’d pay out. After 8 hours and free Gin and Tonic drinks, I had to pee. I was ahead $180. After going to the bathroom I couldn’t remember which machine I was on. About that time my friend invited me to the Roulette table. I Suck at Roulette so I’d put down $5 on whatever color I wanted and my friend would put down $20 on the opposite color. I lost every time, so he won every time. By the time we left the casino he had won a bunch of money and I had lost some money, but because he was betting 4X’s more than me, we split the money. It paid for our trip. So we had fun for 2 days, got drunk for free and our trip was paid for by the casino. And I personally was $180 ahead.

Jeanne was so funny. I miss her humor. Thankfully I’ll be able to laugh with her throughout eternity

I somehow came upon this ❤wonderful human being❤quite by searching for humorous & clever presentations. I am physically disabled…having suffered a Stroke over seven years ago. Hence, I’m basically homebound & I use the Internet often to keep my mind occupied. Mrs. Robertson is just “my speed” when it comes to how she shares her life experiences. I try to keep myself in good spirits despite all & I find her way of thinking & talking immensely helpful…what a “J☺️Y!” The world truly lost a delightful treasure!😢

She is a "Spirit Lifter"! Thank you, I needed to shift gears in my OWN 'left brain😉
